Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare samples for laboratory analysis
- Split, mill and dry samples accurately
- Scan routine samples using NIR instruments
- Perform minor analytical procedures such as moisture determination
- Maintain sample retention stores and cold rooms
- Manage laboratory waste according to procedures
- Clean laboratory utensils and glassware
- Maintain cleanliness of laboratory areas
- Care for and clean laboratory equipment
- Follow laboratory quality and safety procedures
- Complete additional tasks as required
